Joe Biden A Model Idiot?

I knew
there was a reason I like Joe Biden so much. While the media has continued on their yearlong
break covering the real issues of the campaign, Biden has made yet another
gaffe. Biden essentially told a rally that if Obama is elected within the first
six months there will be an international crisis to €œtest the mettle of this
guy.€

He has
been the Republicans secret weapon for the last two weeks. All Obama had to do
for the last month was punt. Just stay out of the limelight, out of trouble
and use all the campaign funds to cruise to victory.
Good old Joe has gone out of his way to not let that happen. First it was Biden that brought up the issue of
taxes telling Katie Couric it was Patriotic to pay higher taxes. This of course led to the now infamous Joe
the Plumber incident in Dayton, Ohio a few days ago and then the subsequent massacre of a €œregular
dude€ by the media. Now Senator Biden says that within the first six months if Obama is
elected there will be an international incident. He really is a walking Gaffe
Machine. The Biden Gaffe clock has run
out of batteries it has been reset so many times. A guy with this much
political experience should know better. Even Joe Biden will tell you he is more intelligent than that. He has
already €œforgotten more about foreign policy than most of my colleagues know,
so I’m not being falsely humble with you.€ I guess he also forgot how to conduct a fundraiser in this day of 24/7 media coverage.

In usual
Biden fashion he closed out the fundraiser realizing what he had said "I
probably shouldn’t have said all this because it dawned on me that the press is
here," he joked. Don’t worry Joe Even though most of the reporters are
with Sarah Palin they did leave a couple for you, just in case you decided to
stick you foot in your mouth AGAIN.
