We Want Dallas: Pittsburgh Edition

A post by "Blake the Megalomaniac" To see more posts click here

For myself being at Penn State for 4 years, it did not take me long to build a hatred for the Philadelphia Eagles and especially their outlandish fan-base.  After moving to the DC Metro area for work, I’ve realized the Dallas Cowboys and their fans are just as sorry, maybe more so than the Eagles.  For all the Cowboys fans who text bomb me when they blow out an under .500 team, or harass Redskins fans when they lose in a nail biter in the last 30 seconds of the game…..your Pittsburgh loss will soon become a reality, and your playoff hopes a burnt-out cigarette (from the mouth of Pacman Jones after leaving the Skrip Club) in the ash tray that was your season.

For all those Steelers haters out there, let it be known we are a force to be reckoned with.  The #1 ranked defense proved yet again that they have the best front seven in the league, not to mention shutdown corners and hard hitting/impact safeties.

On a sidenote, Wes Welker may be dead from this hit.

The betting line for the Steelers/Patriots game (c/o sportsbooks.com) puts Pittsburgh at 1 point underdogs in Gillette Stadium.  Prior to Sunday night, the Steelers were 0-2 at Gillette Stadium.  After a brutal start to the game, Pittsburgh found their 8-3 record in danger of dropping to a tie in the division with the Baltimore Ravens, after being down 10-3 to the Pats.  Dick LeBeau then regained his defense’s composure as the Steelers forced 5 turnovers by games end.  Two forced fumbles by James Harrison (#92), two interceptions by the secondary and a fumble recovery on special teams were the difference.  The Steelers dominated on offense by scoring 30 unanswered points to seal the deal 33-10.  Now second in the conference behind Tennessee, the Steelers look to the Dallas Cowboys next week to go 2-2 in the NFC East.

Right now, there are no weaknesses in our defense.  Harrison and Woodley account for 24.5 sacks this season and 121 tackles.  Polamalu accounts for 5 interceptions and a fumble recovery.  The Steel Curtain still has not allowed an opponent to go for over 300 yards.  On offense, the O-line has had their struggles and so has the run game, but with such a stellar defensive, sometimes 11 points in a game will put up the W.

So, WE WANT DALLAZ!

You did it but your O is going to need to step up if you want to go to the big game.

This is true. We cant depend on fourth quarter performance to win the big games. However, once baltimore and tennessee get beat by the Steel curtain, we will be titled as the Team to beat in the afc [if not already titled so].

PS I have not seen any comments by cowboys fans yet, why?
