Contrary to what many thought would be a weekend marked by bogged down streets and overcrowded watering holes, it was more business as usual at the local pubs from what I could ascertain. Stops at the usual suspects–The Front Page and Buffalo Billiards with a mix of Rocketbar, Green Turtle, Fox and Hounds, and Rumors for good measure–proved it was just another weekend (besides for the splitting hangovers caused by binge drinking and terrible sinuses – TMI).
