Just Married/Heading for Divorce: Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian

We’re watering down the sanctity of marriage here.

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom were married Sunday after a one-month long courtship.  I can’t offer any original opinions on their nuptials but I will say one month usually isn’t enough time for anyone to know whether they want to spend their life with someone else. That’s the point though, these two aren’t even beginning to consider being married forever as an option but just enough time for E!Network to film the wedding and show it during sweeps.

It’s true that a lot of strong bonds were formed by the epiphany of love at first site and this could be one of those cases or it could just be a publicity grab. But what’s in it for Lamar Odom?  No offense to Khloe but she seems to have no discernible talent nor is she the most attractive of females.  The odds that these two stay together longer than a season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians is slim but it makes for good TV.
