That kid Vaughns is as quick/fast a player that I have seen at Mason. I thought the Sophmore PG Cornelius that Mason got last year was quick but this kid is blazing fast. The other Freshmen kids Hancock and Johnnie Williams along with Sherrod Wright are all going to be real good. You can see their talent already. Those guys along with Sophmore bigs Ryan Pearson and Mike Morrison give Mason a pretty formidable top 8 for the next couple years. They are probably a year away but Coach L is giving all the young bucks minutes through the first couple games. This young squad will get tested big time at the end of this week. Possibly playing 3 top 25 teams in Puerto Rico. Having to play a team as fast and at veteran as Villanova this early in the season for a team this young, will be more than a learning experience.
