Terracotta Warriors at National Geographic Museum
From November 19th to March 31st, the National Geographic Museum is hosting a special exhibit on the anicent Terracotta Warriors. It might be a pretty interesting exhibit considering these statues were built close to 2200 years ago and were part of an 8000+ statue mosoleum dedicated to the first emperor of China. Weekend slots might be tough to come by as many of the slots have already sold out, but if you’re a sucker for relics of human history like I am you’ll still be able to make it to one of the weekday time slots.
Some interesting info regarding who/what the Terracotta army was can be found here (and no it isn’t a Wikipedia article).
And tickets can be purchased via the NGM’s website.
