Mo’ Money Mo’ Problems for DC Transportation

As if parking in DC wasn’t a debacle in and of itself, the District’s DoT has decided to extend parking meters services to Saturdays. According to the department website, the changes are expected to take effect sometime in early January. As if that weren’t enough to make you want to clothesline Fenty while he’s riding his bike, the District will also be charging an unbelievable $2/hr in some locations where parking is considered to be ‘premium’ and, as the coupe de grâce, parking enforcement will be extended to 10:30 pm.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I think I’m going to wipe my ass with this parking ticket I just got a few days ago:udothedishes . . .
