Heinz Revamps the Ketchup Packet
I’m not adept at politics anymore. Truth be told I haven’t been for a while and I’ve just now pinpointed why. Because it’s a sport. Politicians are only concerned with reelection and not what’s good for the country. What I can do is comment on life’s simplicities. Take Heinz for instance, the quintessential ketchup manufacturer since 1969. H.J. Heinz Company has been producing America’s favorite condiment (up for debate, what’s your fav. condiment). Now, although, they own 50% of the frozen potato sector and are ranked first in ketchup in America, they refuse to rest on their laurels. While other companies may have sat idly by, complacent, Heinz is upgrading the ketchup packet featured in almost every fast food restaurant of significance.
From WaPo:
“The new design has a base that’s more like a cup for dipping and also a tear-off end for squeezing, plus it holds three times as much ketchup than a traditional packet.”
